Alongside her art career as an installation artist and film maker (under the name of Burnett-Rose), Ella Rose has worked as a long-standing session musician/voice over artist in London and Paris, singing on soundtracks for television and film, major brand adverts, and on albums such as Mike Oldfield’s 'Tubular Bells III', for musicians such as Andrew Roachford, Tolga Kashif, and more recently here in NZ for Maitreya. She has also worked as a vocal coach and music producer, most notably for clients such as the actress Angelina Jolie. She has a strong humanitarian background as well, and is currently the Creative Director for the Global Citizen Concert & Album for the Global Poverty Project in NZ.

Ella Rose is a singer-songwriter originally from the UK, with an unusual background moving countries every two years or so, around 18 times since childhood. Now living permanently in New Zealand, Ella is releasing her first album 'The Road Not Taken' produced with Ben King, and Engineered by Neil Baldock of Roundhead Studios in Auckland. With the extremely talented Geoff Maddock, Nick Gaffeney , Ben King (all former members of Goldenhorse), and Milan Nobilo all playing on the album, as well as further musical contributions from Andrew Keoghan, Katie Scott, Peter Prestel, Warren Mendonza, Janek Croydon, Henry Shanks, and the wonderful String Quartet, the album was recorded entirely live to tape at York St Studios, mixed at Roundhead Studios, and mastered at 301 in Australia.
